As we got further into Arizona, cactuses started popping up and Larry was SO excited to see his first big cactus! We arrived at Leah’s house in the late afternoon just as she was getting off work. We were so excited to not only see Leah but to see a familiar face! We hung out at her house and caught up for a while and then went to pick up Jake in Tempe.
We went to dinner at Four Peeks Brewery which was really crowded being that it was graduating weekend. We didn’t mind the wait once we got our food because it was all really, really good. This is also when Larry started to realize he might be starting to like IPAs! Very weird, but the beer really was good. After dinner we checked out Mill Ave. and went to another place and had a couple beers outside. The weather was perfect, just warm enough. Leah said this is the beginning of the end for when you can be outside in Arizona and for your sunglasses not to melt on the dashboard.
